Day 1: Arrival in Paro Upon arrival in Paro, immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture with a visit to the Rinpung Dzong, also known as the “fortress of the heap of jewels.” If time permits, explore the sacred sites of Kichu Lhakhang and Drugyel Dzong. Rest for the night at a hotel in Paro.

Day 2: Paro – Haa – En Route Hike to Chele La Pass Embark on a scenic road trip to Chele La Pass via the picturesque Haa Valley. Wind through charming hamlets and terraced rice fields as you ascend to the secluded Haa Valley, recently opened to tourism. Explore the valley’s traditional settlements and ancient temples before ascending to Chele La Pass at 3810 meters. Admire breathtaking views of Mount Jhomolhari and the Haa Valley while offering prayers with traditional Buddhist prayer flags. Spend the night at a hotel in Haa.

Day 3: Haa – Thimphu Journey to Bhutan’s capital city, Thimphu, through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages. Explore Thimphu’s vibrant streets, bustling markets, and golden-topped monasteries on a leisurely walking tour. Discover local handicrafts at the farmers market and visit cultural landmarks like the National Textile Museum and the Memorial Chorten. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 4: Thimphu – Paro – Taktsang Monastery Embark on a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, perched dramatically on a cliffside at 3140 meters. Explore this sacred pilgrimage site, believed to be where Guru Rinpoche meditated in the 8th century. After descending from Taktsang, enjoy a picnic lunch in the scenic Paro Valley.

Day 5: Departure from Paro Bid farewell to Bhutan with fond memories as you enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning. You will be escorted to Paro International Airport for your return flight home, marking the end of your Bhutanese adventure.
